Flowers in the Park

Princeton Public Library

Master Gardener Becky Kidwell will speak regarding the pollinator garden that she cultivated at the Princeton City Park and also about the flowers currently blooming in the park. The event is free and open to the public.

Songwriting Contest Finals

The Room Upstairs , 865 Mercer Street , Princeton, WV

Peak of the Bloom Songwriting Contest Finalists compete in a live concert in The Room Upstairs in the Grassroots District of downtown Princeton. All are welcome to enjoy the show. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students. Complimentary refreshments will be served.

Guided Plein Air Painting Experience

Camp Creek State Park

En plein air (French pronunciation: ​[ɑ̃ plɛn ɛːʁ], French for outdoors, or plein air painting) is the act of painting outdoors.

Artist Eric Thomson will lead a plein air painting workshop in the beautiful wildflower fields of Camp Creek State Park. No experience necessary. Cost to attend is $25. Easels, canvases and paint will be provided.

Guided Photo Hike

Camp Creek State Park , 2390 Co Hwy 19/5, Camp Creek, WV

Award Winning Photographer Steve Jessee of Associated Photography will lead us on a guided photo exclusion through the beautiful and remote fields of wildflowers at Camp Creek State Park. Meet at Associated Photography at 813 Mercer Street at 1 p.m. or at Camp Creek State Park gift shop at 1:30 p.m.
