Peak Of The Bloom

Artist Shannon Shine will lead the plein air painting workshop in the beautiful wildflower fields of Camp Creek State Park August 9th from 4-7p.m. We will meet at the amphitheater at Camp Creek State Park at 3:30 p.m. No experience necessary. Cost to attend is $40. Lap boards, canvases, paint and snacks will be provided.

Note: because this is a wildlife area, there is no guarantee the flowers will be in bloom during this time. One year, the wildflowers were consumed by hungry deer. Though the sunflowers didn't survive, Camp Creek State Park and Forrest is a beautiful sight to behold at any time. The Peak of the Summer is a special time, and activities will highlight this natural beauty, with sunflowers or not!
